Privacy Policy

PassFit does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. We do not require an account, email address, phone number, or any form of registration. All information you enter within the app — including membership names, categories, costs, dates, notes, and locations — is stored exclusively on your device and never transmitted to any server, cloud, or third party.

We do not use analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or any form of telemetry. The app operates completely offline with zero network requests.

Types of data NOT collected:

• Name, email, phone number, or address
• Location data (GPS or network-based)
• Device identifiers (IMEI, MAC, Advertising ID)
• Usage statistics or analytics
• Photos, media, or files
• Health or fitness sensor data
• Payment or financial information
• Contacts or social network data
• Browsing history or cookies

All data entered into PassFit is stored locally on your device using Hive, an encrypted local NoSQL database. The database is sandboxed within the app's private storage area and is inaccessible to other applications on your device.

Security measures implemented:

• Data is stored in app-specific private directories
• No network transmission of any kind
• No cloud backup, sync, or export by default
• Data is automatically deleted when the app is uninstalled
• No caching on external servers or third-party infrastructure

Since the app is fully offline, there is no risk of data interception during transmission, no server breaches, and no third-party access to your data.

PassFit requests the POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission (Android 13+) solely to send you local renewal reminders for your memberships.

How notifications work:

• Generated entirely on your device — no network communication involved
• Based solely on dates you entered locally
• Fully configurable — enable or disable at any time from Settings
• Stored locally and never transmitted

You can revoke this permission at any time via your device's system settings. The app will continue to function normally without notification permissions — only reminders will be disabled.

PassFit does not use push notifications, remote messaging, or any form of network-based notification system.

PassFit does not integrate with any third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Analytics providers (Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
• Advertising networks (AdMob, Facebook Ads, etc.)
• Crash reporting tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
• Social media SDKs (Facebook, Twitter, Google Sign-In, etc.)
• Payment processors
• Cloud storage or sync services
• Mapping or location services
• Any form of third-party API

Fonts used (Cairo and Inter) are bundled within the app package and do not require network access to render. The app contains zero third-party code that transmits data. All dependencies are used for local functionality only (UI rendering, local database, navigation).

Data retention is entirely under your control:

• Your data persists on the device until you explicitly delete it within the app
• Individual memberships can be deleted at any time from the detail screen
• All data is permanently and irreversibly deleted when you uninstall the app
• There is no server-side backup — deletion is immediate and complete
• No data is retained, archived, or backed up by us or any third party

Since no data leaves your device, there is no data retention policy to maintain on our side. You are the sole custodian of your information.

You have full and complete control over your data at all times:

• Right to Access: View all your membership data directly in the app
• Right to Modify: Edit any membership details at any time
• Right to Delete: Delete individual memberships or all data by uninstalling
• Right to Portability: Your data can be exported by viewing it in the app
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Disable notifications anytime from Settings
• Right to be Informed: This policy serves as full disclosure of data practices

Because all data is local, you exercise these rights directly through the app interface. No request to us is needed — you are in complete control.

PassFit is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the app collects no data whatsoever, there is no risk of inadvertent data collection from minors.

The app's fitness tracking functionality is designed for general audience use and does not contain content inappropriate for any age group. However, we recommend parental supervision for users under 18.

In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we confirm that no personal information is collected from any user, regardless of age.

PassFit is designed to be compliant with major privacy regulations:

• GDPR (EU): No personal data is collected, processed, or stored outside the device. No Data Protection Officer required as no data processing occurs.
• CCPA (California): No "sale" of personal information occurs as no data is collected or shared.
• COPPA: See Section 7.
• Google Play Developer Policy: Fully offline app with no data collection.
• Google Play Families Policy: App is suitable for all ages with no data collection.

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, app functionality, or Google Play policies. When updated, the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this page will be revised.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Since the app collects no data, policy changes will primarily reflect clarifications or regulatory updates rather than changes in actual data practices.

Continued use of the app after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
