We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about our practices. By using Snaplog, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
What We DO NOT Collect

- ✕ Your location or GPS data
- ✕ Usage behavior, analytics, or crash reports sent to us
- ✕ Any data transmitted to external servers
- ✕ Advertising identifiers or tracking IDs
- ✕ Any information shared with third parties
What Is Stored Locally on Your Device Only
Snaplog stores the following data only on your device using Hive local database. This data never leaves your device:

App Permissions
Snaplog requests only the permissions necessary to provide its core features:
Used solely to scan QR codes and barcodes. The camera feed is processed on-device in real-time and is never recorded or transmitted.
Used only to save PDF reports you explicitly export to your Downloads folder. We do not access any other files on your device.
Used only to open URLs found in QR scan results in your browser via url_launcher. Snaplog itself makes zero network requests.
Used only to toggle the camera torch to assist scanning in low-light environments.
You can revoke any permission at any time in your device Settings. The app continues to function for non-camera features without camera permission.
Data Retention & Deletion
You have full and complete control over your data at all times:
- ✓ Delete individual scans from the History screen at any time
- ✓ Clear your entire scan history from the Settings screen
- ✓ Uninstalling the app permanently removes ALL data from your device
We have no ability to recover your data once deleted, as it is never stored anywhere other than your device.
Third-Party Services
Snaplog does not integrate any third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, or tracking. The app has no connections to:
- ✕ Advertising networks (AdMob, Meta Ads, etc.)
- ✕ Analytics platforms (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
- ✕ Crash reporting services (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
- ✕ Social media SDKs of any kind
Children's Privacy
Snaplog does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted at any time, the app is safe for users of all ages. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns, please contact us.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
