1 Introduction

SpecSheet ("we," "our," or "the App") is a local productivity tool designed for creating technical project specifications. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle user information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and have designed our app to operate entirely offline with no data collection.

By using SpecSheet, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

2 Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. SpecSheet is a fully offline application. All data you enter—project names, descriptions, technical specifications, design tokens, and estimates—is stored exclusively on your device using a local database (Hive).

The following non-personal technical data may be collected automatically by Google Play Services and the Android operating system:

• Device model and operating system version
• General device identifiers (not IMEI or personally identifiable)
• Anonymous crash reports and performance data
• App install and update events (via Google Play Console)

3 How We Use Information

Since no personal data is collected, the use of information is limited to:

• Local Storage: Your projects and specifications are saved locally on your device for your exclusive use.
• Clipboard Access: You may copy generated specifications to your device clipboard for use in other applications. This action is user-initiated and not tracked.
• Crash Reporting: Anonymous crash data helps us identify and fix bugs to improve app reliability.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third party. Period.

4 Data Storage and Security

All data is stored locally using Hive, a high-performance local database optimized for Flutter applications. Data persistence is managed entirely on your device.

• Encryption: Data is not encrypted by default. We recommend enabling Full Disk Encryption on your device (Settings → Security → Encrypt phone).
• Data Deletion: You can delete individual projects from within the app, or clear all app data via your device settings (Settings → Apps → SpecSheet → Clear storage).
• No Cloud Storage: No data is uploaded to any cloud server, backup service, or remote database.

5 Third-Party Services

SpecSheet does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or social media services.

The only third-party service that interacts with the app is Google Play Services, which is required to run Android applications. Google Play Services may collect anonymous usage data as described in the Google Privacy Policy.

6 Children's Privacy

SpecSheet is safe for users of all ages. We do not collect any personal information from any user, regardless of age. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13.

Since no data is collected from any user, no special age-based restrictions are necessary. However, children should always obtain parental consent before using any application.

7 Device Permissions

SpecSheet requires zero special permissions to operate. The app does not request access to:

• Camera or microphone
• Location services (GPS)
• Contacts or phone
• Storage or media files
• SMS or phone calls
• Account credentials or sync

8 Your Rights and Control

You have full control over your data at all times:

• Access: View all your data directly within the app at any time.
• Delete: Remove individual projects or all data instantly.
• Export: Copy specifications to clipboard or generate Markdown files for external use.
• Opt-out: Disable anonymous crash reporting from your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Usage & diagnostics).

9 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the app's update notes on Google Play.
